The Magical Station

The Magical Station 4 sections:

1- First section

Start with welcoming the 6 students to the magical station and explain the reason behind the name of the station, it is because Ali Baba's story is a fiction story with some magic.

2- Second section

Link for the presentation:

Read and explain the story from the presentation and discuss some additional information such as the difference between chef and chief and translate some vocabulary.

3- Third section

Start this section by asking the students to move to the treasure corner and telling them that now we will enter the cave, and grab some golden coins from the treasure.

The discussion question: Put yourself in Ali Baba’s shoes, would you steal from the treasure as he did or not? Why?

Explain what putting yourself in someone’s shoes means in English. If the student's answer was no, ask them if they are scared to get killed like Cassim (Ali Baba’s brother).

Note: At this point and after the discussion question, give the students the worksheet (Include a short summary of the story and a word search puzzle for new words).

4- Fourth section

The Bamboozle activity requires two teams, so 3 students vs 3 students. The activity includes some vocabulary and questions about events from the story. The winning team will get donates.
